UCFab Karnivore
The Karnivore is based off of a famous full size crawler originally made popular by BFGoodrich during the release of the Krawler tire, where it was seen on the iconic orange poster (seen below). The buggy had a fiberglass Hummer style hood which was popular in this time frame. This scale chassis was designed to mimic the lines of the iconic buggy, and while it currently sits on top of portal axles which are more inline with current rock crawler trends and also doesn’t run a hood at all, it still reminds me of my most early influences in rock crawling. The chassis was built by Kyle Listul of UCFab and was only the second one like it made. At the time of writing, only two of them exist. I finished the build using the Vanquish Products F9 portal axles to debut them to the public in a running video.
