Add a full interior and roll cage to the new Axial SCX10 III Motobilt Gladiator while retaining the factory body and mounting locations. This file set was designed specifically around the newly released Motobilt Gladiator body for a clean installation using existing mounting points wherever possible.
IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE: This file set is designed specifically for the new Axial SCX10 III Motobilt Gladiator. It is not a direct-fit installation for the previous Axial Gladiator body. The parts may be adapted to the older body, but installation will require drilling your own mounting holes and/or using adhesive.
This is a DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ONLY. No physical parts are included. You will receive the files needed to 3D print the parts yourself.
The download includes:
Interior roll cage
Driver and passenger front seats
Rear bench seat
Dashboard
Steering wheel
Individual STL files are included for each part, along with a 3MF file with suggested print orientations.
The cage mounts directly to existing locations in the new Motobilt Gladiator body.
At the front, remove the factory molded plastic piece that attaches the top of the light bar through the body. The roll cage replaces this piece and uses the factory screws and existing holes at this location.
At the rear, the cage mounts through the two outside holes used to attach the bed. The factory backing piece inside the body remains installed. The cage mounting tabs stack on top of this piece before being secured through the body.
18mm screws can be used for the rear cage mounting points.
Install the seats and dashboard onto the cage before installing the cage into the body.
The front seats, rear bench seat and dashboard attach directly to the cage. The steering wheel attaches to the dashboard.
12mm screws are used for:
Seats to cage
Dashboard to cage
Steering wheel to dashboard
A 3MF file is included with suggested print orientations.
If printing directly from the STL files:
Roll Cage: Print upside down to minimize the amount of support material required.
Dashboard: Print standing vertically with the right side of the dashboard on the build plate.
The remaining components can be oriented based on your printer, material and preferred surface finish.
